Acts we create

In 2000, Carl Gouw joined Goldig Investment Group, his family-owned organisation founded in the 1970s. He oversaw Goldig’s property assets and repositioning projects. Carl also worked on the creative side, including the creation of luxury residences. Subsequently, he identified acquisition opportunities and formed a vision to create a lifestyle brand. With Goldig’s support, Carl established ACTS Group in 2005.

 

Milestones

2008: First serviced suites property opened - ACTS Happy Valley, Hong Kong
2011: Second property of serviced suites opened - The Archive, Hong Kong
2011: First cultural project opened - Wan Chai Visual Archive
2011: Flagship hospitality property opened - ACTS Rednaxela, Hong Kong
2013: FC Residence and ACTS Satellites serviced suites opened in Hong Kong
2013: Commenced construction business, focused on fitting-out works
2014: Boutique resort, FC Residence, Bali, opened in Indonesia
2015: Ultra-luxury single house in Hong Kong launched for sale
2018: New serviced suites opened - ACTS House, Hong Kong

 

The Brand

From 2006 to 2007, branding consultant Sandy Choi Associates was engaged to launch the ACTS brand, in preparation for the marketing of our first serviced suites property. Embracing culture and creativity, ACTS collaborates with different communities. Our taglines - ‘We Create’ and ‘Inside Out,’ represent our vision of co-creating authentic stories with others.

Since 2011, ACTS has participated in individual creative projects, as well as commenced our construction business. Toby Ng Design was engaged to review our brand semiotics and publish a booklet ‘Inside Outside.’ As our journey continues, ACTS envisions to connect and nurture people, ideas, experiences and places.
