Strategic advisory, conceptual design and master planning
(for non-profit organization HKALPS)

  • HKALPS awarded by the Government to develop and operate a 90,000 sq.ft. site
  • Situated by the Kwun Tong Promenade and under Kwun Tong Bypass
  • Cultural destination for creative and social projects
  • Part of Energizing Kowloon East Office (EKEO), a government initiative to oversee the development of Kowloon East
  • Extensive outdoor areas, with open stage and urban farms, as well as indoor facilities built using used vessel containers

Initiated and supported by ACTS
(with the School of Design of PolyU Design)

  • Community arts space at The Archive, Hong Kong (serviced suites)
  • Non-profit organisation synergising urban renewal, cultural tourism and community arts
  • Strived to co-discuss and co-create with different stakeholders
  • Opening ceremony held on 17 May 2011, with Bernard Chan (Chairman of Council for Sustainable Development *) and Michael Lai (CEO of St James Settlement *), as officiating guests
  • Self-curated programmes and events
  • Events co-organised with third-parties, including St James Settlement and Le French May
  • Rooftop installation by Dutch artist Frank Havermans for Hong Kong Shenzhen Biennale (early 2012) (sponsored by Netherlands Consulate General in Hong Kong)
  • Visual identity by Trilingua Design

  • Complete remodel of 35-year old single house on private lot
  • Designed by Collaborate Limited
  • Distinct classical architecture with façade creepers, timber windows, and wrought iron works
  • Bespoke interior features including Pietra Dura stone floors, bronze ceiling and automation systems
  • Extensive landscaped gardens with swimming pool and spa
  • Featured in Architectural Digest (China edition) and Design Anthology
